The system won't impress gamers, video editors, and other power users on the prowl for a big, multimedia powerhouse, but it offers ample performance for mainstream use, particularly for the price. With decent battery life and a surprisingly light weight for a 17-laptop, the Dell Inspiron 1750 (I1750-2211MBU) is a smart choice for bargain hunters looking for a big-screen laptop.
