Like the LG Optimus LTE, AT&T’s LG Nitro HD features a 4.5-inch 720p HD resolution display, making it one of the first smartphones in the US along with the HTC Rezound and the upcoming Galaxy Nexus to feature such a high-resolution screen.
Inside, the device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
It will feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera along with HDMI output, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA support, and a large 1830mAh battery that’s expected to provide a longer battery life.
The device will support AT&T’s fledgling 4G LTE network and should come running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Those unfamiliar with the phone's specs sheet should know that the Nitro packs 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
The manufacturer also stated that the smartphone will be delivered with a free 16GB memory card in the sales package, but this has yet to be confirmed by AT&T.
Aside its amazing 4.5-inch HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, the LG Nitro HD is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, which puts it among the most powerful Android smartphones available in the market.
Obviously, the phone features full support for AT&T's 4G LTE network and offers a range of connectivity options, incuding Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot.
