Last year, the Korean company has launched its first tablet. You will recall all LG Optimus Pad, also known as LG G-Slate in the U.S., a tablet that has tried to differentiate itself from competitors by adopting models of solutions and innovative technologies. Optimus Pad, in fact, was the first tablet with 8.9-inch screen and 3D technology. Although it has not had the expected success, mainly because of its very high price, the tablet LG was the first step of the Korean field of digital tablets.
After almost a year, however, LG could be working on the successor, for simplicity we’ll call LG Optimus Pad 2 and a photograph which we propose. We have not confirmed the veracity of this image, which could cast doubt on some aspects. For example, Optimus Pad (first generation) LG logo is placed on the back of the tablet and not on the front as in this mysterious LG Optimus Pad 2. Making a comparison in size, we could say that the successor of Optimus Pad should have a 8.9-inch display or maybe smaller.
The image provides no information on the technical configuration, although most likely LG Optimus Pad 2 will be fitted with Android OS 3.2 or Android 4.0 Honeycomb Ice Cream Sandwich. Following the example of other manufacturers, LG Optimus Pad 2 may incorporate Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core or a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. To answer these questions, you will need to wait another few weeks.
