Samsung Galaxy Note I717 Full Specifications And Review With Price Details India US UK

Online tech site PocketNow predicts the arrival of 4G LTE-capable Samsung Galaxy Note in the U.S. early next year withAT&T as the possible carrier adopter and the version model number SGH-I717.

The upcoming Galaxy Note is expected to be a color variant of the popular model with its 5.3-inch display in 1280 x 800 resolution and the dual-core 1.5Ghz MSM8660. SGH-I716 is distinguished from the international version GT-N7000 in two ways, the 4G LTE connectivity – allowing users to experience faster data transmission rates – and the Qualcommchipsets found in T-Mobile’s GS2 and Skyrocket. Added features include a 700Mhz/ 1700Mhz radios and an operator tramp stamp. The 4G LTE functionality has gained common ground among U.S. carriers such as Verizon and AT&T involving high-end phones.
The Qualcomm chipset will be in lieu of the local Exynos chip which has raised eyebrows about the replacement. Others reasoned out the LTE non-compatibility of the chip which moved Samsung to take in Qualcomm. In contrast, Verizon’s version of Galaxy Nexus LTE uses a Texas Instruments-made processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 4G LTE will be unveiled at the CES in January 2012 and may feature the four-button layout, the Gingerbread functionalities, and a rebadged design.
Samsung, however, haven’t confirmed the foregoing facts which presuppose that everything is yet hearsay, and pricedetail is nil for now. Stay tuned.
The recently announced 4G LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note is said to be making its way to AT&T and will be known as the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 once it is officially announced and added to AT&T’s stable. The AT&T version is said to be almost similar to the original version of the Galaxy Note except for the support for LTE and a little tweak on the internals of the AT&T version.
Predictably, the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 will pack support for LTE to take advantage of AT&T’s LTE network for faster mobile internet. We also expect the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 to ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will just be given the chance to get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich once Samsung is able to finalize their work on the ICS update for its line of high-end devices.
One thing of “note” with the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 is its humongous display will bring a lot of joy to an avid note taker and this task is made much easier by the fact that the device will ship with an S-pen stylus. We got the full details of the Galaxy Note SGH-i717’s specs sheet to give you an idea as to what you can expect.
The Galaxy Note was announced back in September at IFA 2011 in Berlin and single-handedly resurrected the use of the stylus. The device measures 146.9 x 83 x 9.7 mm and it tips the scales at a rather hefty 178 grams.
As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy Note SGH-i717’s internal is a bit different from that of the original Galaxy Note because AT&T’s version will based on the SnapDragon platform as opposed to the original which was given the Exynos platform. The Galaxy Note SGH-i717 will pack a QualComm MSM8660 chipset at the heart of its operations which features a dual-core Scorpion processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz and an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, both of which are found sitting atop the SoC chipset.
The Galaxy Note SGH-i717 will ship with a full gigabyte of RAM to support the processor in coming up with the computing power that the device requires while internal storage of the device is expected to be at a generous 16GB of onboard storage. The Galaxy Note SGH-i717 will also come with a dedicated media card slot for memory expansion purposes.
The crowning glory of the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 is its gigantic 5.3-inch SuperAMOLED capacitive touchscreen panel covered by a sheet of Gorilla Glass. It will have a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels while its pixel density is pegged at 285 ppi. It will also come with a dual-camera configuration with a 2MP snapper at the front and an 8MP shooter bringing up the rear. The rear shooter of the Galaxy Note SGH-i717 is expect ot have an autofocus feature in addition to its LED flash and will also be capable of capturing 1080p videos.
The AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717 is expected to be unveiled at CES 2012 come January and we just can’t wait for the device to break cover.
