Asus has not directly had a booth at CES, but when NVIDIA we have discovered a new device that brings not only a dull 14.0 inch display with 1366 × 768 pixels resolution (in a 13-inch housing thanks to thin frame), but also still a NVIDIA GT610M for much power to work. The ASUS U44SG is Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, HDD or SSD options and above all a 83Wh battery ships, to persevere in up to 10 hours.
Good processing, many connections such as HDMI, USB 3.0, LAN, S/PDIF, HD webcam and more convinced us directly. The current price of 1149 euro with the Intel Core i5 2450M (2 x 2.5 GHz), 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and Windows 7 Home Premium deter something though, but with the 19 mm thin body and 1.7 kilograms, it reflects a few brownie points.
