Lenovo and Intel has partnered to bring Lenovo K800, first Android smartphone powered by Intel processor. This comes with a 4.5-inch 720p HD TFT LCD touch screen display, 8MP camera with Dual LED flash. It is powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor Z2460 (code-named Medfield) with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with LeOS Skin on top. This phone supports up to 21Mbps HSPA+ speed and would run on China Unicom network with the Intel XMM 6260 Platform that uses HSPA category 14 . It has 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS onboard. The Lenovo K800 smartphone will be available in China in the second quarter of 2012. There is no news about the price or whether it would launch outside China. Source: Intel
