The World’s first Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS based, Samsung Galaxy Nexus is reportedly arriving to India in March 2012.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the World’s first smartphone to get Ice Cream Sandwich OS.It was announced in 2011, October and now its available for sale out of India.Samsung posted this news in his Twitter account, but on official site product is still listed with ‘Coming Soon’ tag.
Galaxy Nexus sports 4.65-inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen at an resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.It is powered by Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 with PowerVR SGX540.It has newest NFC connectivity.
It comes with 5MP autofocus with LED flash rear camera which is capable to shoot video at 1080p resolution and 1.3MP front camera.The phone has 16GB/32GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM.
However Samsung Galaxy Nexus may not be the first ICS-based smartphone in India because Huawei’s is planning to launch ICS based smartphone ‘Honor’ in India in February.Also other manufacturers including LG, Sony-Ericsson are planning to roll out ICS update to their high-end smartphones.
