Asus Eee PC X101CH Netbook with Intel Atom N2600 CPU :Review

Asus has released a new Intel Cedar Trail-based netbook, the Eee PC X101CH. The heart of  Asus Eee PC X101CH netbook is a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual-core processor, 1GHz DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard driv, anf an Intel GMA 5600 integrated graphics.

The Asus Eee PC X101CH netbook is equipped with a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11n, a webcam, card reader, optional Bluetooth 3.0, and a 4-cell battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Started.

The ASUS Eee PC X101CH netbook is built with a 10.1-inch screen which has 1024 x 600 pixels of native resolution. It runs on a Windows 7 Starter Operating System and is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual-core processor. In addition this netbook comes with an Intel GMA 5600 graphics, includes a 1GB DDR3 RAM and is embedded with a 320GB hard drive.

In addition to the above discussed specs this mini laptop is embedded with a webcam, provided with a media card reader and offers with the connectivity options of WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 (optional), etc. This netbook is empowered with a 4-cell battery that ensures a long lasting battery backup for which it delivers up to 5 hours of running time, packed inside a thicker chassis than the previous used for the original Eee PC X101.

The device is embedded with a chip which is built with the utilization of 32nm production process. The device offers the well enhanced multimedia features and its due to the PowerVR SGX545 graphics core that Intel has showed of the Cedarview architecture, which knows how to support hardware decoding for MPEG2, VC1, AVC, and H.264 Full HD content as well as for Blu-ray 2.0 content.

The UK-based retailer has not yet provided the shipping date for the Asus Eee PC X101CH, but this netbook is listed to bear a price tag of £213.74 including VAT, or about 249 EURO in Europe.
