The Sony Tablet S is an Android powered PlayStation certified tablet, which is having all the notable mid-to-high range specifications and a solid hardware under the hood.
Sony Tablet S comes shipped with the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS, sporting a 9.40-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolution, powered by a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, equipped with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, an additional front-facing 0.3 megapixel camera to make video calls, 32GB built-in memory storage, microSD card support for memory expansion up to 32GB, infrared technology, Bluetooth, 802.1 Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, Android Market, 5000mAh battery and a whole host of the Google services.
The Sony Tablet S lets the users to control their home entertainment devices and share content wirelessly with friends and family. Personal photos and video content can be ‘thrown’ (streamed) at the touch of a button from the tablet to DLNA-compatible TV sets and other devices.
