Although some people opt for the normal sized laptops, there is also quite a niche for the netbook loving ones. This could be the reason (apart from the budget of users of course) why HP is still venturing into handy netbooks such as their newest offering in the netbook market, the Mini 1104.
To start things off, this netbook has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit WSVGA widescreen display capable of 1024×800 pixel resolution. Its operating system is the 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. Orchestrating its multiple functions is the dual-core Intel Atom N2600 which has a clock speed of 1.6GHz. In addition, it has 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM and storage wouldn’t be a problem as there’s 320GB of space provided.
Other goodies on it are Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi support. There’s also a security feature on it which protects user’s data and this is due to the TPM 1.2 chip coupled with Computrace Pro Software. Would be owners also have the option of choosing a six-cell Li-ion over the standard battery which promises nine (9) hours of good use.
If you’re working on a tight budget or just simply satisfying your fondness for anything mini or small, the HP Mini 1104 retails for $399. Ordering can already be done on HP’s website.
