In case you didn’t know, CES 2012 is expected to be the place where Ultrabooks and quad-core smartphones will take the center stage along with a dash of other gadgets that will titillate the senses of all the enthusiasts enjoying every bit of the event.
If you’re planning to attend hoping to see any sign of HP’s new ultrabook, it appears you’ve come at the right occasion as the company leaks its new laptop called “Spectre” expected to resemble all the features of an ultrathin notebook.
There’s really nothing much to crack with that teaser image, but as you can see from the svelte, it looks pretty thin along with a glossy finish. Interestingly, insiders manage to spot this laptop at the FCC last week in which they predicted the device may be running an Intel Sandy Bridge if its release date would arrive on early Q1 of 2012, else it should be powered by Ivy Bridge.
If you’ll ask me, it’ll be interesting to see this device to have some transforming capabilities similar with Asus Transformer Prime, or if that’s too much, we hope it will have tablet-related features enabling it to instantly switch along with its ultrathin profile. And oh, having a touch-enabled screen that acts as its keyboard or LCD will do as well. What do you think?
